Mrs. SFO777 and I are on QF8, the DFW-SYD A380 Christmas week in a virtually empty F cabin, F9 and only one other seat assigned. We have 2A and 3A and the interloper has 4A. Assuming that the cabin is indeed 3/12 and remains 3/12, any reason not to consider moving to K seats, with F seats used as our beds? With EF showing 9s across the board, there seems little risk of oversold op-ups. Does QF let non-revs book/sit in F? Would rather stay in our A seats if the cabin starts to fill up in the final day or at the gate.
