Gibraltar's airport is very interesting. The runway is perpendicular to the main road. Before the plane lands, the barricades come down. Pedestrians wait close to the runway. It's very loud when planes take off. You can feel the wind blow hard.

There are signs warning people not to throw rubbish as it can get sucked into an engine.
