Got this info from the W Time Square conceirge if anyone is interested.

The final evening of 2015 will be ushered out with performances by the world’s hottest celebrities (yet to be announced) followed by the famous ball drop and over a ton of confetti! Please check the Times Square Alliance website for updates: http://www.newyearseve.nyc/nyc/nye-s...x#.VG0FmTTF9e8.

For all outdoor spots in Times Square it is very important to remember that it is on a first-come-first serve-basis, meaning unless you go outside and get a spot in the street by around 4:00pm (on average), you will NOT be able to see the ball drop. There is no way of viewing it from our hotel premises, and there will be police officers and security preventing anyone from making last-minute attempts to access Broadway before the ball drops. I don’t mean to discourage you, honest! I just want to make you’re aware of this issue, because many of our guests don’t plan for this type of festivity and are unaware of the tightness of security and overwhelming amount of people that attend.

Also, keep in mind that alcohol is not allowed in any outdoor areas and there will be no public bathroom facilities available. For more information please log on to http://www.timessquarenyc.org/events...q/index.aspx#9.

As far as parties in our area that night, we have the W Living Room Bar on our 7th floor which does not have any windows to see the festivities outside but it is open to our guests at no additional cost. If you wish to have reservations for that evening you can email them directly at [email protected]

If you are interested in dining at our hotel, The Blue Fin is providing a three-course meal and they are taking reservations for their first seating from 5:30pm-7:00pm with a prix-fix of $125.00 per person plus tax and gratuities. There will also be a separate a la carte menu which features a chef selection of sushi and raw bar.

Reservations for their second seating are from 9pm-10:30pm with a $300.00 pre-fix (plus tax and gratuities) or the a la carte menu. This seating will include a complimentary champagne toast to ring in the New Year.

*Please note this is an indoor party and does not permit access to Times Square at any time. Guests leaving from the first seating will need to exit at 47th Street and walk over to 8th Avenue.
Please keep in mind that the restaurant has no views of Times Square and all NYE reservations need to be booked directly with them by emailing [email protected] with the number of guests, seating/time preference, and contact phone number. In years prior the second seating guests have occasionally had last-minute access to the Times Square area for the ball drop. However, they cannot guarantee this access since it is entirely at the discretion of the New York City Police Department.

*Children are allowed to the dinner portion of this event (prices are the same as adults) but they will not be allowed into the bar area.

Our other restaurant Dos Caminos will have two seatings. Both will have a three-course pre-fixe with a choice of choice of appetizer, entrée, and dessert. Both will need to purchase a wrist band for $250.00 if you want open bar.

The first seating is between 5:50-7pm for $125/pp. and all parties in these seatings must be out by 9pm unless you have purchased a wrist band. The second seating is between 9-10pm for $225/pp and this seating includes a complimentary glass of Champagne for the midnight toast.

*At this time they are not planning any type of possible Broadway access for the ball drop, so consider this a strictly indoor party.

The legendary Copacabana will once again be throwing a great party with various seating options available ranging from $995.00-$2000.00 (all inclusive!) and this will include a cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres, an exquisite dinner, scrumptious desserts, a Broadway Cabaret show with a live Motown band, and the best part - an escort out to a reserved spot in Times Square just in time to see the ball drop! This has been one of the most popular events in the previous years so I have included their CC form as I predict it will sell out very soon.

*Any Ages

Hurley’s Piano Bar will also be hosting a great party with open bar, passed hors d’oeuvres, tapas, a cabaret show for $695.00 (all inclusive!). The event starts at 8:00pm and goes until the wee hours of the morning (cash bar after 12:15am). The 2nd Floor VIP Ultra Lounge will feature one of NYC’s hottest DJs, while the 3rd floor will feature our Broadway Cabaret featuring Arbender Robinson (Broadway’s Lion King, Book of Mormon, Hair, Beautiful, and Little Mermaid). Also, hear the tinkling keys of the mysterious Miss Emi (Legendary Broadway Piano Player), enjoy Cabaret Sing-Along, decadent dances, and interactive excitement!

This event will also include an escort out to a reserved spot in Times Square just in time to see the ball drop, and since this has also been one of the most popular events I have included their CC form as well.

*Any Ages

One of the best new restaurants in Times Square, The Hunt & Fish Club, will host a night full of cocktails, decadent food, as well as an escort to see the ball drop in the middle of Times Square!
