First of all, speaking as neither a woman, nor married, this just doesn't make sense to me - to hafto keep 2 different names throughout your lifetime. If the average person gets married at, say, 30, and expects to live to, say, 80 - - that's 50 years that you hafto remember which name is used for what, where, and on what documents, and such. Seems to me easier to change it to something acceptable to both spouses, and just use one name for everything.
