I am frankly astonished by the positively gushing sentiments expressed by some. I have travelled regularly in south east Asia and I'm my view KL is the dullest major capital city on the region. The city themselves promote having the world's tallest flag poles as a major attraction.... Nuff said. Malaysia in general is OK as a tourist destination but Borneo excepted , it has nothing that many of its neighbours do much better. Beaches,culture,food,scenery,lifestyle , nature is the one big win.
