I know a lot of the Pacific Pilotage use AC on YYJ-YVR. There are dozens of ships per day, and the Pilots tend to work one way and fly the other. In fact, I know one who is SE, and never flies any other AC route.
You are talking about connecting flights which is a different subject from my postings along with pilots flying from the island to work out of Yvr.
The Pacific Pilots drive boats, not airplanes. They ride as passengers in airplanes to get back to their home base.
