A week ago we overnighted at the GH DFW. Upon arrival my better half went straight to the Centurion Lounge while I heading to the carousel.

After grabbing bags and heading to checkin I confirmed the latest that a gate pass was possible was 7:30.... it was 7:05PM.

The FDC immediately called (TSA?) to request an agent and processed my checkin. Bags placed aside, I sat in the front desk area while the TSA agent spent about 10 minutes making calls. He furnished me with a sheet of paper to present to security and walked me back down the escalator.*

At security, which was not busy, the agent requested a supervisor and within a few minutes my pass was accepted and I entered the security line.

All told this consumed about 30 minutes from entering the hotel checkin area to enter the secure area near gate 22.

*I find TSA at DFW to be among the nicest... and I admit that grudgingly.
