I did 70 segments strictly YYJ-YVR last year and I'd guess most times I'm on 8077 1/3 of the plane is regulars coming home.

I need to be there for meetings starting at 8:30 and am often not done until 5 or later. I don't get paid enough to overnight and be away from my family when a solution exists to get back same day.

For personal use I'll take the ferry. From a work schedule not. The time from leaving downtown YYJ to arriving downtown YVR is 3.5 hours and going the other way can be longer is it's busy.

If I'm going YYJ-SEA I will sometimes do that seaplane but that's based more on a limited number of direct airport to airport options.
