If you are into the flights being part of the journey like I am you can go out of your way to experience LH or LX business class. Personally I'd do it for F but not J, but you may want to get a little more air time out of your miles.

I'd take a strong look at TK. From what I hear it is one of the best J products in the sky, with amazing food. TK flies out of WAS, NYC, YYZ so you should have some good options. Look for 77W's not A333's and a good layover in IST - that lounge is amazing.
