I've been to this hotel several times, but the recent changes in nomenclature for the room categories have been a bit hard to keep up with.
The king executive u got upgraded to is a bigger, un-refurbished suite room.
Ask for the more recently renovated shophouse suites or junior suites.
If they say none are available, try to kindly ask for the Ambassador Suite.
