You are so right. I'm only 62, working full time to support my travel habit, but I never feel I have the luxrury to taking part in group events or not. I HAVE TO SEE EVERYTHING.

I do have it down to one carry on under the seat bag for 3 weeks (mostly black.) But after about 6 or 7 days of walking the streets 6-8 miles a day, and taking the undergrounds, I get tired. Really tired. Eventually my feet swell and I become unpleasant. Then it's probably 10 pm, time for dinner in Milan, which can easily last until 1 am.

Don't get me wrong, I agree with what you say. I'm saving the cruise up the inland passage to Alaska until I'm really old, even though I have relatives all along the route. Right now I want to do everything I can that requires strength and flexibility. So I think it's time for India again. I enjoy traveling on the cheap side, knowing I can bail my way out with a credit card should it become unbearable. So far it never has, and I've seen thousands of things in numerous cities and countries that I never would have on tour.
