But that's not even particularly relevant. Stuff happens. How about if the municipality interrupts water service to the hotel due to a main break while you are mid-stay? How about electricity interruption, say, during the blackout of 1978(?) (which would, of course, also take out the elevators)? Compensation due?
Ever make a mistake in your job? Do you compensate your employer/customer by voluntarily returning part of your pay/fee?
