Nope I didn't know that. I know AA operates MIA-SEA, and AS flies to FLL but I did not know that AS used to go to MIA. You learn something new every day.

Maybe what I should have said was "It would be great to see more AS metal to the East Coast, hopefully the improving partnership with AA will nurture that on some routes and or be catalyst for a East Coast focus city." Is that better? Oh I hope it is because that is what I was implying by agreeing with
djp98374 when they said "They may add more flights to certain hub cities on the east coast."

You have an odd idea of "growing partnerships"... most airline executives would consider that "giving your supposed partner a middle finger when you dump extra capacity into a hub to try and chase a partner off a route". Or maybe I'm misunderstanding you-what exactly do you have in mind?
Or, to put it another way... AA has a hub in LAX. So would the AS-AA partnership grow if AA decided it was time to fly 6xLAX-SEA and 3xLAX-PDX, and maybe 1x LAX-ANC?
