Um, when did you go last

Migracion gave me a semi hard time yesterday (yes, hotels are much cheaper in TJ than San Diego) when I said I don't have passport with me. They let me in, but new law stipulates (they say) you need a passport.

Days of crossing la linea is over for gringos - nacionales still only need to press the button to see if they need to stop at customs.

So with the horrendously long wait to come back, Mexico just lost a WHOLE bunch of my tourist dollars

Good thing the middle class thing is picking up in TJ with lots of cafes opening up attract locals, as US tourists are an endangered species these days. At least gringos, Mexicanos are hard to tell apart from Latinos visiting from US, at least for me.
