Once you get into the air, you will get the class of travel for which you paid. In CW a GCH may have priority for food selection if choices run out - but it will be to the CW menu, not the F menu.
If there are IRROPS status may count, but again on the ground.
As a long-serving GCH, I can say that you will not get service, food or drink from a higher cabin merely by virtue of status.
The old rule applies - pay for the.cabin you want!
Agreed and that's fine but being offered some champagne in the back is a pretty common occurrence as far as I know isn't, so it's not all what you pay for
