When I was a GCH I had a CSD come an introduce herself before one WTP flight and that was it, I may have read reports on here of some being offered a glass of bubbly but might be mistaken.
Pretty much what I've had - the odd visit from the CSD to say hello, let me know if there's anything i can do for you etc... Also have one of the cabin crew running down the aisle after me with some urgency to thrust a glass of fizz into my hand without so much as an explanation.
