I just have a question in regards to China Southern's meet and greet for Business/First passengers. if anyone has experience with china southern flying business class/first class, or just China Southern in general, you expertise is appreciated!

So I'm flying from Auckland to Guangzhou then onto JFK. Transit is 10hrs, therefore I am eligible for the '24hr transit visa'. I just have a couple of questions.

a) Upon arriving at CAN, I am told that I will get a meet and greet assistance for all premium cabin passengers. What is your experience with this?

b) For those of you who have gained free accommodation before, how does it work? Do I follow the arrival signs or transit signs to the desk to pickup my accommodation voucher? I sense arrivals because I am leaving the airport?

c) Since I am only staying for 24hrs, do I need to pick up my bags because I am technically 'entering' china for 24hrs?
