Just wondering if anybody has experience of using IB+ Avios to rent a car in Spain? and if so 2 questions if I may:
i) To do so it necessary that your IB+ card is registered using a Spanish address? (I do spend part of the year there but when I registered for IB+ I didnt use my Spanish address)
ii) Can it only be done using Avis as the rental company?

Also I'm thinking of transferring points from BA Avios where I have a lot to IB+ where I don't have so many - have been a member of BA for years, only a member of IB+ for the past 6 months, Have seen some posts suggesting there was problems making such transfer recently, has this been resolved now?
