Car rental in European countries can be very expensive. I always get a manual shift car because the price of automatic cars are even higher.

Sixt sometimes has reasonable C class Mercedes. I think they are automatic, but I don't remember. I don't like to drive a cockroach for safety reasons and because they can be slow (unlike the pest).
