Lounge and top few floors are closed for renovation since December 2015. Nothing stated on Hilton or Hotel's website.

The Le Meridian in the next tower had a similar renovation earlier in the year, and as posted in their respective thread SPG Plats were treated to a full buffet in Main Restaurant AND the usual selection of drinks from cocktail hour (alcohol included) as compensation for lounge closure. A notice informing about lounge closure and duration was displayed on SPG & LM website.

As my previous post indicated, I stayed as HH Diamond. Unfortunately not only was no notice given on website or prior to arrival ... Hotel didn't even have printed material to explain the changes during renovation. Check-in staff were also clueless about renovation duration and also the complimentary meeting room benefits for Exec Floor. It would have been annoying if I had needed the feature.

Lounge is now located in the Lobby Cafe. Ambiance is good, but gets very crowded as the area cordoned off is about 1/3 the sitting of usual Exec Lounge. Saw several people being turned away or simply gave up looking for seats. Food offering has also been reduced. The only plus I can gather is that the Lobby Cafe has a pianist which plays during Cocktail Hour ... Overall quite disappointed with how the hotel handled the lounge closure.

Would be switching my stays to LM for the next few months, while hoping the Hilton's renovation would top their neighbor's
