It does indeed say that, plus further compensation if the delay "allowing them to depart no more than one hour before the scheduled time of departure and to reach their final destination less than two hours after the scheduled time of arrival." 250€ if it's this weekend, falling to 125€ in certain circumstances.

You may be able to use that as a bargaining tool, or to pay the travel costs. Note that BA only pays £50 in taxi fees in the first instance, but will pay more if challenged.
