I just booked an MP award ticket on TG. On the UA screen, it will not tell me the PNR. I spent an hour on the phone with UA web support, and they also can't find a PNR. There seems to be no way to call TG anymore without calling BKK directly. I've emailed TG twice and got no response.
I just flew TG on an MP award ticket. I called their BKK office, and after giving the 016 ticket number and travel date, the agent was able to give me the record number. Total time on the phone was about 2-3 minutes including navigating the phone menu. The agent spoke perfect English.

You're right that TG doesn't seem to have a US contact number.
