3 hotels to open up in Columbus OH in 2017.

Three new Marriott hotels are currently under construction, including the Renaissance Westerville, and a shared-services setup between Marriott and Residence Inn on Olentangy River Road.

The shared-amenity setup at the Olentangy River Road Marriott and Residence Inn is the first of its kind in the country. Both hotels will have separate entrances and lobbies, but they will retain shared access to meeting rooms, the fitness center, pool and dining areas. The hotels are expecting to service visitors to The Ohio State University and Riverside Hospital.

In Westerville, the new eight-story Renaissance hotel will be positioned within the Westar development at the intersection of Cleveland Avenue and Polaris Parkway, marking the city’s first full-service hotel and conference center. The hotel will service visitors and workers in the Polaris and Westerville areas.

All three hotels are scheduled to open in 2017.

Meanwhile, the City of Dublin just approved a new AC Hotel by Marriott that is also expected to open in 2017, and another AC Hotel by Marriott has been proposed for the Park Street area in Downtown Columbus.
