It was a real human, not a auto generated voice. This isn't a flight where I applied RPU or GPU to either so there was no need to call me. Is this new--having United call you when a CPU clears? Perhaps it is--getting a CPU is so rare that United has to let you know.
I've never been called about a cleared CPU. I do have the email preference set to email me when a CPU clears but...even when it does (not incredibly common but on certain routes it happens), no communication from United. I just have to check my BP/reservation/upgrade list to find out.
