When you have a profession that's a very popular, well paid career choice there's always the risk employers see this as an opportunity to start a race to the bottom regarding salaries as they know they'll always be those that will stick with the profession due to factors other than just salary. And yes, the bigger issue around CC pay should be how do the LCC get away with paying such appalling wages. Yes, the day job can be a bit... get them on the plane, safety demonstration, go round with the drinks and duty free, get them off the plane, but they're well trained and when the day comes that something goes belly up they've a lot of responsibility on their shoulders. £15k a year is frankly an appalling wage considering what is expected of them.

If BA raised CC salary to more of an acceptable level say £27k so inline with UK average earnings, how much would this add to the ticket price? would this be a simple case of one or two pounds?
