Hmmm, that advice sounds like a recipe for disaster.
"Oh, no, officer, I promise we all have global entry, but another agent told us several months ago not to bother with the kiosks, that we should just to fill out a blue card for the whole family but still go through the GE line to save time."
Once the agent stops laughing, "Wow, that's creative. Good try. The back of the line is over
there."
"No, you can look it up on your computer. We have GE."
"Are you telling me how to do my job?"
