After getting landside on arrival, you might consider going through security at DUB T1, using fast-track if appropriate. The T2 gates (400-) are signed after security.

This route will miss out the shiny bits of T2, and skips most of the shops/restaurants but is probably quickest.

The airside walk from T1 security to T2 also brings you past the lounges.
