That's a shame. I really hope I can do it before the end of this month...

With the Japanese economy not doing that well, it is not surprising that not enough people use the helicopter service for it to continue. It really is a pure luxury for most people, since it never really has been a huge time saver. With ground transportation factored in, it probably saved less than an hour, and it did not land airside at NRT. One still had to pull up to the curb, check in, and go through security and immigration as normal after the helicopter ride.

Hopefully the helicopters will still be available for sightseeing tours and for charter to destinations in the Kanto area.
