From memory KL use to run a day flight to CPT, and it would come back as a night flight. I think they were the only European carrier to not have the aeroplane sit around for the whole day in CPT. I saw the KL A330 (or B772??) arrive once whist waiting to board the VS flight back to LHR and my first thought was I don't envy those pax. Its now 11pm local time, they have just been on a long flight for 12 hours and they have to collect their hire cars and face the 20-30 min poorly lit drive into town...
