Time change -> Get BA to open AA award seats?

Before the last avios devaluation, I booked two J awards returning VCE-LHR-LAX. Schedule changes now make any same-day LHR connection impossible. I've thought through options:

1. Get BA to rebook me in J on AA's VCE-PHL-LAX flights, even though there is zero award space.

2. Get BA to move my whole trip into May, when it's possible to make a same-day connection from VCE-LHR-LAX. However, there's zero BA award space.

3. My reservation currently shows me arriving LHR at 19:10 and departing same-day at 16:15. - An impossible arrangement.
I can do nothing to keep options open, and see if BA reopens an earlier VCE-LHR flight. Worst case, I'll switch to an available VCE-LGW flight, which gives me 3:40 to connect LGW-LHR.

Can I get BA to offer me 1 or 2, so I avoid 3?
