This is why Flyertalk is so interesting, because we all have our own opinions! If I can get it, I'm always in 1a or F on the airbii, because I don't like seatbacks being reclined into my lap/computer/face/etc. and I'm a window man.

I know the whine you're talking about and I rather enjoy it because it's so unique. I also find that the front galley rattle (takeoff/landing) seems louder on a 737.

I seem to recall a thread awhile back about someone measuring decibel levels inflight, but I don't recall what aircraft that pertained to.
