I am curious if this is due to turbulence within the the 737's wheel wells, even with landing gear retracted, as they are exposed to the outside air due to having no doors.
That shouldn't be possible (turbulence in wheel well) given the fixed rubber seals, but I still feel certain that the 319/320's are quieter overall.
