The sound of the slipstream seemed distinctly louder from just behind the wing of the 737-800 in flight with retracted land gear versus the A-319 in flight. I am curious if this is due to turbulence within the the 737's wheel wells, even with landing gear retracted, as they are exposed to the outside air due to having no doors.
