I have just over 20,000 points and am trying to make a reservation for three nights where the redemption rate is 20,000 points/night. I would like to use my points for one of the nights and pay for the other two. I called the Hilton Honors phone number and was told that I couldn't do this because there was a three night minimum and that one of my reservations would be one night (points) and that the other would be two nights (cash). He said that doesn't meet the three night minimum. I was dumbfounded by this because I AM STAYING THREE NIGHTS-just paying for two and using points for one.

Is it not possible to have one reservation for three nights and just pay for two and use points for one?
