JFK is great, with AirTrain Access to Howard Beach and Jamaica with subways (the latter also with commuter rail). LAX has a shuttle bus to a light rail Station, from where you reach the City with a Change at Willowbrook. I'm actually going this route when I fly to LA in January so it'll be interesting to see how convenient it feels
