You may want to check out the Hawaii threads under Featured Destinations further down in FT Travel.

If you have the time, take a drive around the entire island... it is breathtaking and relaxing...

Also, if you have a day or two... you should fly over to the Big Island. Some great lava flows right now... it is a beautiful island.
