Looks like doing it the other way around, booking Delta metal on Aeroflot website should work. Apparently, I can even save just a little more by paying in foreign currency, due to strong Dollar (no forex fees on Delta AmEx card).

Will I be able to add my SkyMiles number; at least to Delta segments; when booking through another airline?

Any tips in situations like this?
