You probably won't have any difficulties, and will likely be ok filling out the usual "Forma Migratoria Múltiple para Extranjeros" for visiting tourists. Though the law could technically require arrival with the passport of local issue; I'm not sure México has the technology and database to enforce this.

(In the US, you should use your US passport for departure and arrival, of course.)
