You guys are more optimistic than I am on this one. It only takes one round of gate roulette (which used to be AA's favorite casino game in Terminal B) to put a real crimp in that MCT.

I'm currently scheduled in Y (J upgrade requested, but, as a mere PLT, I'm not holding my breath), wrestling two carryon bags, and somewhat mobility-impaired. I walk with a cane if everything is good, I take a wheelchair and get a ride otherwise. Last time I did this , I was in a wheelchair from the 777 hatch to the Terminal D Admiral's Club, and then I got a ride to the far end of Terminal B. (Yes, I was on the later flight to HSV.)

I don't mind the long layover in DFW, as it will give me a chance to get some of the rest I won't get on the transPac hop.

I have a doctor's appointment Monday morning in HSV. I'm debating calling them to reschedule it to Tuesday.
