Airlines gave wrong info
My parents made the decision to spend the holidays back home in the Phillippines and booked a flight with Cathay Pacific. When they made the original flight they booked from Newark, NJ and when they printed the pass out it said New York. The boarding pass lead them to believe that their flight was coming out of a New York terminal. Even calling Cathay airlines and using the automated terminal it said New York. With TSA being as strict as it is and all the things going on overseas they followed the ticket and the boarding pass. They had to buy another ticket for over $2000 because they missed the flight and they weren't given any type of discount or special treatment. It was very confusing and I would like to know what we the airlines can do for us? Thank you.
