On a related note: I requested two award tickets using the online form 8 days ago, and nothing happened. When I contacted the call centre this morning, the person I spoke to insisted that for Star Alliance awards, the only option is to go through the call centre - so she went ahead, issued the tickets and cashed 2 x 20 EUR service fee. This is not what is stated in the T&C.

I have written to customer service...
