I spend an inordinate amount of time chasing what is rightfully mine so if on the odd occassion when playing monopoly there is a bank error in my favour by a large corporation I would have no compunction in saying nowt and hoping everyone else had the good sense to do the same. Once the said corporation has been alerted they may well trawl through similar transactions penalising those who arent so painfully honest.
It's in the nature of humans that some will try harder than others to return that which isn't theirs and doesn't belong to them. I'm sure that we all have our own thresholds for this sort of thing.
But why the overt criticism of those who are being honest and who are clearly doing the right thing?
And who might be getting penalised? Certainly not those who got paid too much initially and who might get the proper position restored.
