One thing that is sort of related to this topic: During my TPAC segments, since UA, as a part of their culinary refresh, has started selling snack boxes during the midnight snack segments. However, on at least 2 segments this year, the FAs turn on all the lights in the cabin to do this. I understand about not reading the menus in the dark as it can hurt your vision etc. but I am not interested in a midnight snack, just water and am in the middle of catching some sleep. Turning all the lights, I'm pretty sure, is upsetting to more than just me.
