It's not easy to answer this question as CHML is not standardized, and there is no choice onboard, like between fish and meat for example. EK CHML looks like any other airlines' CHML.

If your child has some specific needs, dislikes specific items or has allergies, it will be wise to prepare something by yourself. Don't ask FAs, they didn't cook the plates ...

If your question relates to the arab origin of EK, then no worries (?) : food is western. Meat will be halal, but, I challenge anybody to tell the difference in a blind tasting. A veggie CHML is available. CHML, as any SPML is to be requested beforehand.
