But AFAIK neither pilots nor cabin crew can be the same on the outbound and subsequent (i.e. next day's) inbound---it would exceed the maximum continuous duty period.

(assuming 704 left on the 22nd and arrived on the 23rd, then departed on the 24th. She couldn't leave on the 23rd from CLT and be on the flight back to CLT on the 24th. The article just says 23rd and 24th, there are not other non-stops between FRA and CLT)
