Why would they allow someone obviously 'troubled' to resume their duties on the return flight? I realize a plane full of delayed passengers leaving Europe for a non 'act of God' would have been costly but was this in the best interest of the passengers?
My guess is that the initial symptoms were in the grey zone between the normal behavior of someone having a bad day and the abnormal behavior of someone who needed help.
Based on the reports, I'd vote to acquit. I see no evidence of any intention to disrupt a flight. In fact, the FAM says she was completely irrational. Sounds like a 5150.
