I was there twice over this past weekend. I had Thanksgiving dinner in the restaurant as well as having two breakfasts. All meals were overpriced (even though the turkey dinner was really good) and the restaurant was never more than 1/4 occupied.
They need to seriously reconsider the prices they charge. Most of the folks are eating breakfast on some sort of voucher(guessing) but it is a fairly captive audience for dinner.
In the old days that might have guaranteed a profitable/ busy on site restaurant at dinner but these days it is just too easy to order via grubhub, eat24, etc or get a Uber ride to a nearby restaurant. I did Grubhub for dinner on my second stay rather than pay the exorbitant prices charged in the (rather depressing, empty)dining room.
I don't think this will be another "Los Angeles Hotel" BTW. too much work is being done and Hyatt corporate folks have been busy visiting this hotel this past month. I hope to stay in one of the new rooms my next stay here (Mid December) but I don't know if that wll happen.
