I won't do this because firstly it would be wrong and I have now missed the deadline but do you think they are contacting the originating scheme airline to validate status is correct based on membership details provided per photo?

My CX Marco Polo Gold membership recently expired but one of the cards I got given inexplicably had no expiry date printed on it so a photo would make it look like I was still Gold

Assume they would check, and as I say I will definitely not be trying to do this(!) but I am curious how rigorous their checks are for this kind of thing
