Not to get off topic, but as a non-US APEC card holder, my average wait at passport control in PEK, PVG, and any US port of arrival other than the hell hole that is MIA, is about 6-10 minutes. 70% of the time I walk straight up to an officer.

And that's coming from someone who did 5 back to back MRs LAX-JFK-DFW-ORD-PVG(/PEK)-ORD-DFW-JFK-LAX with only a cursory bag search in PVG as a result of the one and only SSSS
