I to got an email today which, thanks to GoogleTranslate, told me that I had been upgraded to a Gold Card (using my BA Silver). I sent the request on 5/11, so took 25 days.

What with the Alitalia match earlier on this year, I now have StarAlliance, SkyTeam and oneWorld status, all thanks to by BA card!^
